MAKLER GRILLOSR are white grilled cheeses made by Cypriot Halloumi technology. They are as a semi-hard cheese made from pasteurized cow milk. We produce some types of grilled cheese with different packages. We produce the traditional grilled cheese, grilled cheese in round forms for burgers, lactose free grilled cheese, fries and in wurst forms.

It is not recommended to be eaten raw because their taste explodes after meeting the grill. It has a high melting point and so can easily be fried or grilled, a property that make them a popular meat substitute.

Makler Grillost grilled cheese is often used in cooking. It can be fried until brown without melting due to its higher-than-typical melting point. This makes it an excellent cheese for frying or grilling or fried and served with vegetables, or as an ingredient in salads. There are many recipes that use our grilled cheese made by Cypriot Halloumi technology beyond simple grilling. Makler Grillost are understandably used a lot in every cuisine – it makes an incredible vegetarian burger, for example. But it’s also great to use in all sorts of other contexts – dice it up and put it in a pie, add it to a curry, or even crumble them into chili.

How to Cook Makler Grillost grilled cheese?

An easy method for how to cook our type of halloumi – Makler Grillost grilled cheese perfectly every time! For beautifully soft, squidgy, salty halloumi cheese that can be used in many different ways. Recommendation for cooking: bake in a hot pan on both sides for 2-3 minutes, to acquire a chewy texture, juicy and milky taste. If you’re using a non-stick pan, you don’t need to add any oil. Since the grill cheese releases some liquid as it cooks anyway, it doesn’t tend to stick.
